【MIC Event Report】ACCELERATOR2023

The Accelerator Program is a new in-house program that invites all Sekisui Chemical Group employees to submit business ideas for commercialization through internal and external support. Prior to the call for ideas, we invited Mr. Akie Iriyama, Professor of Waseda Business School, as a special guest to discuss "What kind of 'Exploration' is necessary for Sekisui Chemical in the future?” 
He said, “Imagination is directly proportional to moving distance”. In order to break out of the cognitive limitations of a limited community, it is important to get out of your own community as much as possible and see and hear what others behave. He spoke in a very easy-to-understand words, using specific examples. The participants were also inspired to apply their ideas to this new program. It was a very precious and special time for them.
