Adhesiveness
We found that our own compound in which polyphenol component, a secretion of common mussel, is incorporated in the molecular structure can adhere to fluorine. By producing tape by utilizing this technology in adhesives, it is possible to stick objects to fluorine resin and polyolefin resin to which it is said to be difficult to stick object.
Primer-less
By using adhesive tape we developed that enables the primer-less condition, it is possible to reduce manufacturing processes (primer application, drying process, etc.) and achieve further stable adhesiveness.

Performance comparison
By using the 50-μm thick adhesive tape we developed and our acryl-based adhesive tape, we measured the peel adhesion at 180° of various adherends. The adhesive tape we developed exhibited favorable adhesion on various adherends, making it possible to strongly stick to PTFE (fluorine resin) and polyolefin resin. In particular, to fluorine resin, adhesive tape exhibited adhesivion stronger by about 10 times than that of ordinary acryl-based adhesive tape, indicating that the attempt to significantly improve the adhesiveness has succeeded.
