Work experience tour for junior high school students was conducted
Sekisui Chemical‘s Minase Innovation Center conducted a tour of its facilities for local junior high school students. The purpose of the tour was to provide students with an actual on-site learning experience as part of their school social studies class.
On the day of the tour, in addition to an overview of the company and its facilities, Sekisui Chemical’s technologies were introduced. During the tour, visitors had the opportunity to actually see and touch the exhibits and experience the technologies and products. It was very impressive to see the visitors actually touching Sekisui Chemical’s technologies, which they do not usually see, such as riding in a concept
car and experiencing a demonstration of thermal barrier interlayer membranes, and listening to each explanation with serious and interested eyes. The Minase Innovation Center will continue its community-based activities to increase the interest of the next generation of children in chemistry.
