Held internal idea generation workshop
The Sekisui Chemical Corporate Planning Center and the Development Strategy Department collaborated to plan a series of six idea generation workshops (hereinafter referred to as “WS”). The first WS was held in May. The purpose of the first session was to extract issues by cutting across two technological axes while imagining a future society looking ahead to the year 2040, and the first session included input on the future society and divergence of actual ideas. The basic design of the workshop was based on what is practiced at the i.school hosted by Professor Emeritus Horii at the University of Tokyo, and a total of 20 employees with a deep interesting idea generation participated. The workshop was very exciting as participants used their brains in a different way than usual, making their brains sweat. It was also a very meaningful training opportunity to acquire new ideas.
